Let’s Celebrate!
Are you good at celebrating? Do you mark the milestones well, like birthdays and anniversaries and promotions?
Over the past year we have celebrated some big days in our family – 20 years of marriage for Greg and me and 50 years for my parents – and it has been awesome!
But not everyday is a holiday, birthday or anniversary. Sometimes it’s just Tuesday and I could use a little joy.
Do you recognize the day-to-day victories, like drinking water, making it to an appointment on time or remembering to take the laundry out – the first time? (Is that last one even a thing? #goals)
Or do you hurry through these moments on your way to the next big day?
I invite you to pause the next time you experience a small, yet significant win… (True story: I just made my bed, with all the pillows arranged at the top and the pretty blanket at the bottom and I feel nearly invincible. Strong enough to drink celery juice, for sure.) and celebrate it. Give yourself an encouraging word and know that I am cheering you on. You are a wonder! You are so capable!
These are the victories that can turn into habits that carry us through the Tuesdays and bring us to our milestones healthy and strong – and they are all worth celebrating.
